Meet Lynsi ![Lynsi Latham-Saunders]()
I am a registered Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant and a member of the Celebrant Association of New Zealand.
I believe it is important to acknowledge and celebrate life events, transitions and milestones in the lives of individuals, families and communities with appropriate ceremony and ritual, whether this be private or public.
I consider it such an honour and privilege to work alongside others to create a meaningful and memorable ceremony that reflects their wishes, personality, beliefs and occasion.
Taku pepeha
Tēnā koe
Ahakoa nō ngā hau e wha ōku Tūpuna.
He whaea Ngati Rā angiau. He Tangata Tiriti hoki angiau.
I whānau angiau, i pakeke angiau hoki ki Te Hawera.
Kei Whakaahurangi angiau e noho ana
Nō reira, e te mōunga Taranaki e tū, e tū, e tū.
Ko Lynsi Latham-Saunders toku ingoa.
Although my
ancestors are from “the four winds” of the earth I was born and raised in Hawera, and Taranaki remains my home.
Although not a fluent speaker of Māori yet I can confidently offer tikanga and te reo Māori especially karakia, mihi, and whakatauki if that is your wish for your ceremony.
